This is a movie I would watch as a child.
Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Finding Nemo have been termed classics. From the same creators, Cars becomes an addition to the already renowned director John Lasseter movies. Why? With voices from Owen Wilson as the main character and Larry the Cable Guy as his best friend, the casting director definitely knew his comedians, and which were hottest back in 2006. I applaud that, since it seems to be so rare thus far in 2008. The soundtrack included artists like Rascal Flatts, Sheryl Crow, and John Mayer, too, who all flow together quite well.
Not just a cute semi-love story between two cars, but also an inspirational and environment-friendly NASCAR tribute, Cars made me smile quite a few times. It's adorable. I enjoyed it, although probably not as much as I would have if I were a kid.
