Very cute, and very enlightening. If you're in a relationship that seems perfect, this is a movie you should absolutely see. Real, marriage-class arguments surface, and the young couple of Sadie (Mandy Moore) and Ben (John Krasinski) is put to the test: a mandatory test to see if they are truly compatible. It sounds cheesy, and the trailer made it look as if it was going to focus completely on robot babies that they're forced to take care of, but it was actually quite good. The dialogue was fitting, and Robin Williams was almost perfect for the role of Reverend Frank (I always envisioned Jim Carrey playing the kind of annoying yet well-meaning part Williams did). Mandy Moore and John Krasinski helped the movie become more of a heartfelt and understandable classic. I honestly believe this movie will make most people think twice if they believe their relationship is perfect, and always will be.
The beginning of the film started right where it should, and it didn't jump into anything. I enjoyed it a lot, and the end didn't come too quickly or slowly for my liking. The timing was thus quite impressive; most movies cannot pull off such a thing.
There's not much else to say besides that I would buy it. Why? It was definitely worth my time, and taught me a lesson or two about what needs to be focused on in a relationship.
