The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
5/23/08
The second part to the magical and popular Chronicles of Narnia. Although it lacks the detailed and gorgeous fantasy feeling of the first, the dialogue is still creative enough, and thank God they kept the original characters. I will say, though, that this is far more drawn out than the first, which is indeed a bad thing. One doesn't get the chance to develop the same bond with the characters as he or she did in the first movie, so it can seem a bit dull at moments. But there are enough beautiful scenes and action to make it at least semi-interesting as a standalone. The plot, however, is nothing spectacular, and the acting is worse in this one than the last.
This is decent, but long. And Ben Barnes, who plays Prince Caspian, cannot act, especially in a fantasy role. However, it isn't a waste of money. 7.1.
